Antique EAPG Pedestal Jam Stand Jelly Compote Bowl Pinwheel & Cane Sawtooth Rim
EAPG compote has hobstars, pinwheels & cane buttons, scalloped rim with a sawtooth edge.
Reverse arch fence type panels border the center of the bowl.
The upper edge of the bowl is scalloped and serrated. Pedestal stem is notched like a zipper, the base of the pedestal is pressed with a large pinwheel with cane center. This matches the design that circles the bowl. The compote measures 5.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter.
After 12 hours of research, I was unable to come up with a similar piece to help Identify the manufacturer or pattern name. I viewed thousands of examples and only one like this was found, also unidentified.
Wonderful collectible specimen, whether for show or to use as a serving piece for special occasions..
No condition defects to note.
