The Giralda Tower is 130 ft. tall. It is a model of the famous Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. The Giralda Tower was designed & built in 1922. J.C. Nichols designed the plaza to be the country's first planned suburban shopping area. The tower was built to honor Kansas City's sister city in Seville, Spain.
The tower is at the corner of J.C. Nichols Parkway & 47 Street on the Country Club Plaza. It has shops on the first floor. The other three floors are used for public parking.
