Thousand Lines 10.5 inch Bowl aka Stars & Bars by Anchor Hocking Crystal Vintage
This elegant bowl is a big one! Made by Anchor Hocking from 1941 through the 1960's, this pattern is also sometimes called Stars and Bars, but in truth, there is another style with that name and it is different. This pattern is in pressed glass, with three bands that almost look like a clover. The center features three bars that intersect to form a diamond shape with stemmed diamond patterns around it and the outer section of the platter. The design appears to be cut, but it is pressed into a mold to form the design in the glass. The pattern is pressed into the bottom, where as the top surface is smooth. This bowl measures approximately 10.5 inches across and is 3 inches in height. The edge is rippled.
At the time of listing, I also have the matching 12.75 inch Torte Platter as well.
This is in excellent condition with a few stray utensil marks evident when you look closely. Because of it's size and weight, this bowl should not be combined in a shipment with anything else. The shipping fee for the box size would increase dramatically.
