Milk Glass Lamp Shade White 2.25 inch fitter x 7 x 3.25 Gadrooned Early 1900's

Beautiful vintage lamp shade for ceiling or torchiere style fixture. Molded in what is called a gadrooned style, in milk glass with scalloped rim.

Shade is not completely opaque, light will pass through it. Fitting has a rolled edge and is used for a base that has screws used to tighten the shade to it. Thick and heavy glass. 

Shade has a 2.25 inch fitter and measures 7 inches wide and 3.25 inches high. 

Shade is from the early 1900's.

This shade is in excellent condition with no chips, breaks or cracks.

Measuring for a replacement shade:

A. height of the shade.

B. width of the shade's top rim

C. width of the shade's widest point

D. width of the shade's fitter measurement across the bottom, which would fit inside of the holders base.

E. height of the fitter. Some are short necked, some are taller. This would be the measurement from the very bottom up to the beginning of the bulged section.
