Bottom edge measures 2 1/8 inch across (outside measurement) 1 5/8 inches across (inside measurement), will fit inside a 2 1/4 inch opening. Flared top edge measures 5 3/8 inches across and stands 5 1/4 inches tall. Will add beauty to your ceiling fan or chandelier.
Please measure your socket very carefully prior to ordering. Even 1/8 inch difference in diameter can cause the glass to not fit.

Measuring for a replacement shade:
A. height of the shade.
B. width of the shade's top rim
C. width of the shade's widest point
D. width of the shade's fitter measurement across the bottom, which would fit inside of the holders base.
E. height of the fitter. Some are short necked, some are taller. This would be the measurement from the very bottom up to the beginning of the bulged section.
